HOW TO CLEAN AND STORE YOUR JEWELLERY

 

We source and hand-made our pieces so please read below the best way to look after them

 

• Handle all jewellery, hair combs, headbands, crowns, tiaras with care

 

• If you are sensitive to our jewellery then use clear nail polish { do a patch test first } this creates a barrier between your skin and jewellery

 

• Put your jewellery on after clothes and take it off before you take off your clothes. Doing this will avoid accidental snagging, scratches & breakages etc.

 

• Keep jewellery, hair combs, headbands, crowns, tiaras away from water, lotion, perfume or harsh chemicals

 

• When cleaning do not use abrasive cleaners, use our jewellery cloth to wipe and polish your jewellery.

 

• Keep jewellery, hair combs, headbands, crowns, tiaras inside box or bag given to you. MAKE SURE you are not storing pieces in humidity or heat or light.

 

• DO NOT keep jewellery in direct sunlight as exposure to sunlight over a period of time can cause many gemstones to fade and lose their colour.

 

• Never wear jewellery, hair combs, headbands, crowns, tiaras when exercising as the sweat and dirt may lead to discolour.

 

• Reinforce stones with a drop of clear glue. If stones fall out or if unsure get a professional to do it.

 

• Never wear jewellery, hair combs, headbands, crowns, tiaras in the shower, tub, or pool.
